Should the New York Knicks trade point guard Jarrett Jack?
Numerous players on the New York Knicks have mentioned as possible trade bait this season.
One player, Jarrett Jack, has made it clear that he would rather stay with the Knicks in an attempt to help lead them to the playoffs this season.
“To be honest, I would like to finish what I started,” Jack said Monday, via the NY Post. “I came into a situation where people didn’t expect much from this group. I thought early we were able to turn some heads and get some attention here. The grind of it all has been fun. The ups and the downs, the middle ground, all of it. You’ve got to take the good with the bad, and if we keep playing the way we played in Phoenix the other day, hopefully we can manifest that into some postseason play here.”
Jack has been good for the Knicks this season, but he’s been slipping lately and it might make sense for New York to hand over the starting point guard job to Trey Burke, who’s been one of the most efficient players in the NBA this season.
With Jack being 33 years-old, I’m not sure what the Knicks could get for him in a trade. Maybe a second round pick. Other than that, he’s not worth trading.
