If the New York Knicks sign LeBron James this summer, they could finally end their drought of not winning an NBA championship.
The New York Knicks tried to get LeBron James back in 2010, but of course failed when he decided to sign with the Miami Heat.
FOX Sports 1 NBA analyst Chris Broussard said on his”In the Zone” podcast that he’s starting to think that James will leave the Cleveland Cavaliers this coming summer.
What are the Top 5 destinations for LeBron if he leaves Cavs? Plus, Michael Rapaport on “In The Zone” https://t.co/am6ITsISEb

Broussard then started to reveal his top-five realistic destinations for James if he does leave Cleveland. Coming in at number five is the Knicks.
“Kristaps Porzingis would be a tremendous running mate,” said Broussard. “That’s somebody that you could goto battle with the Warriors with. Then they have Courtney Lee, Timothy Hardaway Jr., guys that can shoot the three, defend, tough-minded and I know LeBron had beef with Enes Kanter this year. But hey, Kanter is the type of guy you hate to play against but you love to play with. You need some strength, some attitude on that team. And then they can go out and get some more shooters around LeBron and Kristaps.”
Broussard also said that if James signs with the Knicks, they would then win the Eastern Conference.
I would love James to sign with the Knicks, but I believe they would need one more premiere player in order to be a more attractive destination. Unfortunately they won’t have the money to do so with Joakim Noah’s contract on the books.
Here’s how Broussard’s top-five list looks when it comes to which teams he could see signing James.
