Trey Burke is now officially on the New York Knicks’ roster.
The New York Knicks have made the move that we were all expecting, as they signed guard Trey Burke from their G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks. In order to make room on their roster, they waived Ramon Sessions.

I would assume that Burke will be with the Knicks for their game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. It will be interesting to see whether or not he gets any playing time.
With how bad the Knicks have been lately, it wouldn’t hurt them to see if Burke can give them a spark on offense.
Burke proved to the Knicks that he’s ready to help them in the NBA after lighting up the G League with an average of 26.6 points per game and a shooting percentage of 48 percent. He also connected on 41 percent of his three point attempts.
Burke will now be playing alongside his former Michigan teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. Hopefully their chemistry together will help New York’s offense.
It would have been ideal if the Knicks could have pulled off a trade in order to free up a roster spot, but instead they had to release Sessions and his guaranteed contract.
Comment below and give us your thoughts on the Knicks adding Burke. Do you think he’ll get a lot of playing time?
