We will likely see Tim Hardaway Jr. back in the line-up for the New York Knicks very soon.
With the New York Knick’ season starting to sputter out of contract, the return of star forward Tim Hardaway Jr. couldn’t come soon enough.
While talking to the media after practice, Hardaway said he could return during their upcoming west coast road trip, which starts on January 17th and ends up the 26th.
“Maybe sometime on the West Coast,’’ Hardaway said, via the NY Post. “Not going to have too many home games so possibly so. … Hopefully if not this next week [upcoming], the week after that.”
Unfortunately, we’re 10 days away from the start of New York’s road trip and they’ll need to figure out a way to stop their current free fall.
Knicks’ guarantee Jarrett Jack’s contract
Despite the fact that Knicks’ point guard Jarrett Jack was coming off of a serious knee injury heading into this season, he’s been a great asset for them.
New York has now decided to guarantee Jack’s contract.
Knicks’ general manager Scott Perry said, “Jarrett has been a leader for the Knicks on and off the court. He’s a valuable member of this team and we look forward to him continuing his successful play for the remainder of the season.”
While Jack’s contract is now guaranteed, his starting spot isn’t with head coach Jeff Hornacek recently stating that Frank Ntilikina could end up in the starting line-up soon.
