Mark Jackson knows how valuable New York Knicks’ point guard Jarrett Jack is.
Former New York Knicks point guard and Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson, who now works as an ESPN color analyst, knows how valuable Knicks’ point guard Jarrett Jack is to a young team like New York.
“The ultimate pro. Great teammate. A coach on the floor. A winner,” said Jackson, who coached Jack during his time with the Warriors, via the NY Post. “I truly believe the Warriors are not the Warriors today had not guys like Jarrett Jack been part of that organization and helped speed the process with some great players. And they’ll tell you the same exact thing. He’s just a great teammate.”
Don’t forget that Warriors’ star Steph Curry thanked Jack while receiving his first MVP award.
Jack has already been vital for the Knicks this season. he helped them get out of an 0-3 hole to start off the season. The Knicks are now 14-13 after a big win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Jack is also proving to be a great mentor to rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina, who seems to get better every game. He’s also proven to be a player that is unselfish and is only looking to help the Knicks win. Jack has been averaging single digits in points, but has been irreplaceable as a floor general, that puts up quite a few assists each and every game.
