New York Knicks’ star Kristaps Porzingis will break out of his slump sooner or later.
After averaging 30 points a game through the first 12 games of this season, New York Knicks’ forward Kristaps Porzingis has hit a minor slump lately after scoring 20, 22, and 13 points over the past three games.
Knicks’ head coach Jeff Hornacek gave an interesting explanation for Porzingis’ slump.
“Didn’t Aaron Judge kind of just go through this?” said Hornacek on Sunday, via the New York Post. “So relax, people, relax. He’ll be all right, just like Aaron Judge.”
Porzingis has been dealing with elbow bursitis, but it’s calmed down lately after taking a game off last week.
Porzingis will have a chance to get back on track and carry the Knicks to a win on Monday night against a struggling Los Angeles Clippers team.
The Clippers started out hot with a 5-2 record, but have since lost eight straight games. The Knicks will have a chance to get a win after a blow out loss last Friday at the hands of the Toronto Raptors.
