Should the New York Knicks have drafted Dennis Smith Jr.?
We all know by now that the New York Knicks decided to use the 8th overall pick in this year’s NFL draft on point guard Frank Ntilikina.
With the 9th overall pick, the Dallas Mavericks selected former NC State point guard Dennis Smith Jr.
Smith put up 21 points and seven assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night and Cavs star LeBron James took notice by saying that the Knicks should have taken Smith over Ntilikina.
LeBron James on Dennis Smith Jr.: "The Knicks passed on a good one and Dallas got a diamond in the rough. He should be a Knick."

James might be right, but so far Ntilikina has looked pretty good as well. We won’t really know who’s better between both players until three years from now.
There is no doubt though that Smith has made an instant impact on a really bad Mavericks team, while the Knicks are bringing Ntilikina along slowly.
