Should we be worried about the elbow injury that New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis is dealing with?
During Thursday’s airing of ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A. Smith said that he’s very concerned about Kristaps Porzingis’ elbow injury.
“I think it’s a very big deal,” said Smith. “I’m very very concerned. He’s all they have. He’s the only reason they’re relevant. He’s the only reason we’re talking about the Knicks.”
Smith went on to say that Porzingis is the only reason people watch the Knicks. Which is true.
Max Kellerman said that because of how important Kristaps is to the Knicks, this a big deal. But he pointed out that it’s only an elbow injury and not a knee injury.
Porzingis is dealing with inflamation of the elbow, which isn’t very serious. Unfortunately it could affect him and the Knicks ability to win games. The most important thing is that he’s able to finish the season and gets his injury taken care of after the season.
For now, we might see Porzingis take off a game here and there, in order for him to rest his elbow.
