Does New York Knicks’ star Kristaps Porzingis have a real chance at becoming the best player in the NBA?
Phoenix Suns’ veteran Tyson Chandler told reporters after Friday’s lost to the New York Knicks that he believes Knicks’ star Kristaps Porzingis could become the best player in the league in the future.
“Porzingis is special,” Chandler said, via Newsday. “He has a chance to be the best player in this league. Watching him tonight and seeing what he’s done so far this season, he has a real shot of being the best player in this league.”
Porzingis put together his sixth 30 point game of the season on Friday, as he put up 37 points and seven rebounds.
“I’m getting better as a player,” Porzingis said, per Al Iannazzone of Newsday. “I can feel that. I’m growing as a player and I think that’s helping the team.”
With Porzingis being one of the most versatile players in the NBA with his ability to score from long range, he’s almost impossible to stop. What’s really amazing is that it doesn’t look like he’ll be slowing down anytime soon.
