New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis is looking for more foul calls to come his way.
While leading the New York Knicks in points through their first three games, Kristaps Porzingis believes he’s getting fouled a lot more than the officials are actually calling on the floor.
“They’re playing physical against me and all those little contacts maybe that go into my turnaround jumpers, I get a little touch on my elbow or something – it changes your shot so much,” Porzingis said, according to Newsday. “It’s hard for a lot of defenders to block my shot actually so I’m trying to tell the referees all those little contacts on my elbow, some on my arm, it’s bothering my shot and it shouldn’t be allowed.
“It’s tough to see for sure. But I just got to be able to make those shots through contact, I guess.”
We saw it the another night against the Detroit Pistons, when Andre Drummond pulled Porzingis’ arm down while he was shooting and a foul was never called.
Porzingis can complain all he wants, but all he can do is keep playing hard and hope that he gets more calls to come his way.
